Today at 2 pm (in about 3 and a half hours) i will stream a "3 Billion Speedrun" on my Twitch channel. The goal of a "3 Billion" run is to get a Total of 3 billion as fast as possible.

1st time i did a run like that was in 2012, got a time of under 13 hours then. With all the knowledge and new strats since then i was curious how fast it can be done in 2017. I had the plan to stream that run but didn't know how the timeline should look. Play in 1 session, play in parts, stream over multiple days, etc.
So i did a test run some weeks ago where i streamed the run in 2 days and 4 parts. I estimated to get a time of about 10 hours but ended with a surprisingly good time of 6 hours and 21 minutes. I don't think i will get a time like that soon again, so i estimate again to get a time of about 10 hours. Today i will stream maybe around 5 hours with a pause between and the 2nd part will be streamed tomorrow at the same time. I am going to play this run on the Gamecube version using the 50hz mode.

This is how the rules for the 3 Billion Speedrun look like:

Get a Total of 3 billion as fast as possible, only the best score from each Zone will count. Played will be according to WCR rules ("Sink-glitch" only allowed on Pacific Peril/4, Runaway is allowed, System or hz switching is allowed).

-You have to start the timer/speedrun while the cursor is on "Crash" on the main menu.
-If you play in multiple sessions, you have to start exactly from that point where the run was paused. Pauses during the run are allowed.
-Run is finished and timer can be stopped when the last score needed is shown. If you have to make sure the 3 billion mark was beaten, then you have to stop the timer after that.

Would be nice if you zapp in and watch me luckin through the game.
